Specifications

The Driver's Side is known as the Left or LH side of the vehicle.

The Passenger Side is known as the Right or RH side of the vehicle.

One way to tell if you have heated mirrors is if you have a Defrost Icon on the mirror. But this may not always be the case. If you have a Blind Spot Warning system, your mirrors are likely heated but may not have the Defrost icon.

The sure-fire way to check if your mirror is heated, if it doesn't have the Defrost icon, is to check to see if you have 2 small electrical connections on the back.

Some vehicles may have an optional electronic Blind Spot Warning system.

A Blind Spot Warning system uses sensors or cameras placed somewhere on the vehicle to detect if there is car in it's blindspot. Some mirrors will display a Yellow or Orange light or Icon on the mirror if so.

Auto-dimming mirrors are optional on some vehicles and are generally only on the driver's side.

Auto-dimming mirrors work by detecting when another vehicles headlights may be shining directly into your side view mirror. The glass on the mirror will then darken reducing the glare reflected at the driver

What's included?

This is glass mirror with the plastic back bracket. With our glass kits, you don't need to worry about scraping off your old mirror. You simply pop it out with a pry tool.

How do I know if my mirror is heated?

Most heated side view mirrors have a small icon in the corner that looks like a defrost button icon.

If your mirror has an electronic blind-spot notification system, it likely won't have the icon for the heater but it's likely heated.

Can I use a heated mirror if my vehicle didn't have heated mirrors originally?

Yes, however the heating function will not work.
